The Silks
Every stable that ever mattered was recognised at a distance before it was recognised by name. The colors came first: a jacket, a cap, a pattern the crowd could read at three furlongs in bad light. A family is a stable of a kind. It has colors too — it has simply never had them drawn.
Choose the jacket, the sleeves, the cap, and one of the classic patterns; name your ground in your own words; date the founding. The house renders them as a Georgian sporting plate, a racing card, or a parlor lithograph — “THE REYES SILKS · FIRST CARRIED 2026” — and sends a proof before anything prints.
On these colors
Real racing silks are registered with the turf authorities. These are original decorative colors designed for you by the house — not a registration, and carrying no racing authority — which is exactly what makes them yours. If your family holds registered colors of its own, you may supply them instead.

The Paddock
A styled proof, drawn live as you set the colors. The finished plate is set by hand in the period manner — the silks inked properly, the caption letterspaced — and sent to you for approval before it prints.
